Bremen style

Bremen is different. Great ,cozy and old-style gothic architecture, German and friendly. I really like this city! I came to visit my brother for the weekend, very determined to survive the trip and manage to read my articles for uni on the train too!
We found the famous Bremen musicians, had cafe latte and apfel kuchen [...]

Goede tijden, slechte tijden (or GTST, meaning “Good times, bad times”) is currently the longest-running Dutch soap opera. The girls introduced me to it, during our dinners in the house. So far I have seen one a half episodes in Dutch!!! The more I watch Dutch TV, the more it sounds a bit like Danish.. [...]

playful cat

Today I played with the cat, the naive cat who keeps coming back to my room each time, even though I always insist on it not staying longer than a few minutes. I like the cat, but I don’t particularly like it in my room. It’s because it’s too playful, it jumps, it climbs on [...]

The crayons

From time to time we get disappointed. Disappointments might last for a while or vanish without trace. Most of them, however last and pile up if not talked about. Disappointments are heavy and make one insecure. One is lucky if feelings of insecurity don’t lead to disappointments. When I get such feelings I write .. [...]

Biking my way..

Biking my way through Rotterdam, it feels like the best of times, yet something is always missing. Nonetheless, I keep moving on, trying to focus on things to do and study, on my Spanish and my design and photography projects.. My writings are not so inspired lately, but I guess it’s just a phase. My [...]

The museum has many sides and many collections. On Sunday, we visited (among others) the amazing exhibition of Yayoi Kusama – Mirrored Years. A skillful combination of mirrored views, repetition of forms to reach perfection, childhood obsessions in graphic art, joy in lights and red poka dots – a complex expression appealing to all senses! [...]

The Picasso way

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should [...]
