Being an Erasmus student in Denmark has opened new horizons for me!
I have been in Odense, Denmark, for 2 months. I live in the best dormitory – Teknisk Kollegium – and I made such wonderful friends!
I trully believe I have made a great choice coming to study here.
I am attending Tietgen Business Skolen just 4 minutes walking distance from Teknisk. My classmates come from all over the world, my class is international and multi-cultural. Also, the teachers are nice and always willing to help. The best thing for me is the different method of teaching, compared to that in Romania. But I will talk about that later.
Before I came to Denmark I didn’t have too many expectations. Here I have been taken by surprise times and times again. Scandinavia, Denmark, are different compared to the rest of Europe. Lifestyle, people, customs. People don’t hurry in the streets, they don’t seem stressed, anxious, not even a bit! Reserved culture, deal-focused. Most people say it’s boring … I say it’s just different. After you get to know some Danes, you understand their culture more.
I have ideas about my near future again, new goals, new opportunities. I have the power to plan what I want to do next. And I believe God will help me make a good decision.
Right now, after having met so many people, after having analysed life here … I feel more motivated. The international atmosphere helps a lot! I missed it. My previous international experience was a 1 year- study-exchange program in Hawaii (2001-2002).
My adventures and the change I am experiencing. I keep changing, I adapt and I learn more.
